The Cadillac Allante is one of those rare vehicles that will always have a following, perhaps like the Delorean. The Allantes were of far-fetched design and quality of workmanship, and very unique in their material content. They carried a $60,000.00

No, there has never been a GM car with a Ferrari motor. Early allantes had the crappy pushrod aluminum V8, later ones had the much mastery Northstar V8 (DOHC, 32V), that's it.
