My audi A4 battery-operated was held in by a clamp at the bottom. You possibly need an Allen key on a long socket to loosen. Remember it was really difficult as it was in the bulkhead behind the engine. If yours is in a similar place get someone to pirate

It's a superior first car. You know it's history, it has low miles and the money your father saves on the purchase reward can be put towards the insurance.
